Treating wrinkles
Facial wrinkles (frown lines, forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, wrinkles around the nose, mouth and throat) can usually be easily treated by facial injections. Depending on the location and extent of the problem, either botulinum toxin (Vistabel, Botox) or hyaluronic acid are used. Treatment is carried out on an outpatient basis and is painless due to the use of a local anaesthetic.
Eyelid correction
As the body ages, the skin of the upper eyelid may sag, leading to “drooping eyelids”. These can also be present from birth. Drooping eyelids are operated on not only for aesthetic, but also medical reasons, as they can narrow the field of vision. The procedure can be carried out under local anaesthesia and is therefore painless.
